Council

Mayor Pam Hansen
I’m Pam Hansen, and I’m proud to call Bentley home and have for over 50 years! My husband, Dale, and I have owned and operated small businesses right here in town, and together we’ve raised our family in this wonderful community.
Bentley has always been more than just a place to live for me, it’s home in every sense of the word. I’ve been honoured to serve our community for seven years as a Bentley Town Councillor and six years as a Wolf Creek Public School Trustee. Those experiences have deepened my appreciation for the people, values, and teamwork that make Bentley such a special place.
My roots run deep in Bentley. My great-grandfather, Russel Garries, served as Mayor of Bentley nearly 100 years ago, and my father, Richard Garries, served as Mayor almost 30 years ago. It’s an incredible privilege to follow in their footsteps and continue our family’s legacy of community service.
I’m passionate about keeping Bentley a vibrant, welcoming place where families, businesses, and community spirit can thrive.

Deputy Mayor Dale Grimsdale
I have lived in Bentley for 17 years with my wife and 2 children. Bentley quickly became home to me as I fell in love with the view, the amazing people, and Bentley’s small-town charm.
I am currently in Business Development with a locally owned energy company, and have been serving the Oil and Gas sector for over 15 years in Central Alberta. I enjoy all types of music, live events, and entertaining friends and family here in town.
This is my second term as councillor and I look forward to serving the people of Bentley for the next four years and am honoured to be their representative.

Councillor Devin Davey
I have lived in Bentley for sixteen years, I have grown up here, graduated here and have made many friendships and connections throughout the community. I love Bentley because there is truly no other place like it. It is a gem of Central Alberta. Being young, I believe this provides me with a different perspective on what we can do to improve the community and opportunities in town for everybody.
I currently work as a receptionist at the Municipal Government Building in Sylvan Lake. This has given me an understanding of how Municipal Government works and with my administrative skills I hope to be an asset to the Town of Bentley.
I am very excited to be serving as one of your Councillors and I look forward to the things we can get done together as a team and council.

Councillor Kristy Klinger
I grew up in Red Deer, Alberta, and lived in central Alberta most of my life. My husband and I have called Bentley home for over four years. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found our forever home. Both of us are lucky enough to work right here in Bentley, and we’re proud to be part of such a welcoming and close-knit community.
We have two grown sons, ages 29 and 23, and share our home with our two doodle dogs, Gracie and Millie, who keep life fun and full of energy.
As a Town Councillor, I look forward to supporting families and seniors, encouraging thoughtful growth, and making decisions that reflect fiscal responsibility and the best interests of our community. I’m committed to helping Bentley continue to thrive while preserving the small-town spirit that makes it so special.

Councillor David Rogers
I was born and raised in Bentley. I moved to northern Alberta in 1987, where I began my career working in the oil patch. There, I met my wife and started a family, before moving back to central Alberta in 2005. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in a mod yard in Ponoka as a journeyman pipefitter. Outside of work my family regularly fosters animals in need, alongside my two resident dogs and cat.
