Family Resource Network

Bentley and area is serviced by the Lacombe Family Resource Network for service for families with youth 0-18 years. Local outreach activities may occur in addition to their regular programming. Follow their Facebook Page for more information.

The Community Services Office is a department of the Town of Bentley, operating under the mandate of Family & Community Support Services (FCSS). The Office receives 80% of its funding from the Province of Alberta. Information on the Family & Community Support Services mandate and guidelines can be found on the Associations website at

When available, additional service contracts may be entered into to better provide services to the citizens of Bentley, at the discretion of Administration and Council. Current funding partners for special projects and services include Lacombe County and the Summer Village of Gull Lake.

FCSS does not engage in crisis intervention directly, but may assist through referrals to appropriate agencies; proudly working with community stakeholders and citizens to identify areas of early intervention and prevention opportunities, and to work towards enhancing programming in these areas as resources allow.
