How to File an Assessment Complaint
An assessment complaint for must be filed using the Government of Alberta “Assessment Review Board Complaint Form” (number LGS1402). This form is available from the Municipal Affairs website: http://www.municipalaffairs.alberta.ca
As per Bylaw No. 243/2023, Section 15, the Town of Bentley has established a joint Assessment Review Board with the County of Lacombe
Complaint Fees: Fees payable by persons wishing to make a Complaint or to be involved as a party or intervener in a hearing before the LARB or CARB and for obtaining copies of the LARB and CARB’s decisions and documents shall be determined by Council in accordance with the Act. Assessment Complaint fees and charges are set in Lacombe County Bylaw 1422/24 under Schedule 3 section 4.
