The Town of Bentley is thrilled to announce progress on the Bentley Arena Project, which is currently in the demolition phase.
As we remove the old slab to make way for a new and improved one, we’re committed to sustainability and community benefit. We are recycling portions of the old slab for various town uses.
Additionally, we have slabs available for purchase, providing residents and local businesses a chance to acquire materials for their own projects. This initiative not only supports our environmental goals but also fosters a sense of community involvement and resourcefulness.
We have cut the old slab into 4’X8’ concrete slab sections. These sections approximately weigh between 1,700 lbs. to 2,300 lbs. The Town of Bentley wishes to recycle these slabs for useful purposes and are offering on a first come first serve basis the availability of a limited quantity of these concrete slabs for $1.00 each.
You must sign a waiver and pay CASH $1.00 each for the slabs prior to being allowed to remove any. You will bear all responsibility to remove them with your own trailer or vehicle. Our General Contractor, Reward Construction is available to load them, however, once they are loaded, you are accepting them as is, where is and they become your responsibility and liability.
Loading will be available beginning on Thursday May 1, 2025, and will be on a first come, first serve basis. We will not set aside concrete slab sections for anyone. Please speak with the site Superintendent once you arrive and make arrangements with them once you arrive on site ON May 1st. Loading will take place at the rear of arena within construction fencing.
