The Town of Bentley is moving forward to begin construction to replace the Arena Slab and Boards at the Bentley Arena.
An open and transparent procurement process was followed with a Request for Proposal, which was posted and available through Alberta Purchasing Connection. The Town received several great proposals from companies with significant experience in this type of work. A contract has been awarded to Reward Construction along with their sub-consultants: Axiom Concrete and Global Sport Resources. Together this consortium of companies has completed more than 115 Arena projects since 1998, including Rogers Place in Edmonton Alberta.
Construction staging will begin tomorrow April 7, 2025 with construction fencing being placed at the back of the Arena as per the attached notice. Access to Blindman Valley Agricultural Society and the Curling rink and parking lot will be maintained off of 50th Street, but there will be no access behind the arena.
